Flights to Israel PDF Print E-mail

The cost of flying to Israel can vary greatly. In searching for a ticket you should be aware of several factors:

1.      Cost of tickets are less if booked early

2.      There are different prices for different days of the week. Tickets mid-week are often cheaper then “weekend” tickets.

3.      There are price differences for high and low season. For example coming to Israel right before the holidays is high season and costs more. Coming to Israel right after the holidays may be low season and cost substantially less.

4.      One way tickets can often work out better. Students often extend the time that they learn and with a one way ticket they have more flexibility. Round trip tickets with return dates of three months or more and open tickets may cost more then two one way tickets.

5. In some cases it may be cheaper to buy a round trip ticket with a return in a short period of time and not use the return portion then buying a one way ticket.

6.      You should check with a travel agent and price tickets online.

7.      It is safe and often cheaper to fly thru European countries even though it adds about 5-7 hours as compared to a direct flight. If you need a connecting flight then the European option may be both faster and cheaper.
