The cost of flying to Israel can vary greatly. In searching for a ticket you should be aware of several factors:
1. Tickets often cost less when booked early
2. Mid-week tickets are often cheaper than “weekend” tickets.
3. Low season tickets cost substantially less than high season tickets. (After the holidays, Winter, etc.)
4. One way tickets may offer more flexibility, as round trip tickets with return dates of three months or more, and open tickets may cost more than two one way tickets.
5. In some cases it may be cheaper to buy a round trip ticket and not use the return portion, rather than buying a one way ticket.
6. Price tickets with a travel agent and online.
7. Stop over flights are often cheaper, though it can add 5-7 hours to the trip.
