Several times a year, She'arim celebrates Shabbos together at a meaningful Shabbaton. It is a chance to get to know each other, learn, sing and rejoice in our heritage.

Travelling to different parts of Israel to see communities outside of Jerusalem is always informative and interesting. Meeting Jews from all parts of the world, and seeing how they have built their communities in different styles is eye-opening and educational.

Some of the places where we spend Shabbos are Rehovot, Moshav Mattityahu and, Ramat Beit Shemesh. In each of these places, we meet with scholars and leaders to hear about their vision and to bask in the beauty of the Torah they teach. Rav Simcha HaKohen Kook in Rehovot and  Rav Zev Leff  in Moshav Mattityahu are among those with whom we are privileged to meet yearly.

Twice a year, we have our Shabbaton in Yerushalayim. We have in the past, been honored with a meeting iwth the Bostoner Rebbe.
