She'arim recognizes that some women have limited time to devote to full-time learning and therefore we make every effort to accommodate individual schedules. Taking into account the busy schedules of today’s women, we at She’arim have created short-term and long-term sessions throughout the year. This allows women to join us at any season they find convenient!

If the beginning or ending dates of the programs do not meet your needs, you may join our regular programs for a shorter or longer period of time. However, no student will be accepted to begin her studies between the dates of  March 25 – April 14 and September 16 – Oct. 10 2012.

Our short-term programs coincide with mid-winter vacations and summer holidays. Students come for a short, concentrated program that focuses on a relevant theme, and leave enriched for a lifetime. We also accommodate part-time students and give them the flexibility to join us for classes that fit their schedule. Although scholarships are not available, we have a variety of payment possibilities. See Scholarships and assistance page for details.

Our full year and long-term programs provide students with the opportunity to learn, grow, and integrate a larger body of material and information at their own pace.  Scholarships are available only for long-term programs.

Due to the many unique individuals joining our programs, each session contains several simultaneous study levels. Students may move between levels as their Hebrew and text skills improve, or combine classes in different levels to form personalized schedules.

Session - Spring

Spring Session

April 22 - June 28, 2012

She'arim Spring Session enables you to make the most of the period between Pesach and Shavuot, when the Jewish Calendar puts special emphasis on Torah learning and personal growth. In this program, the learning is focused on the Giving of the Torah, developing midos that bring us closer to Hashem and to other people. At the same time, in Israel, we enjoy the spring weather with a variety of special trips around Israel.

This program allows students that have completed their term in university to start a summer program of learning. Students may come for the entire program or a part of the program. Those students that can stay for a longer period of time may continue in the summer session during the month of July.
