Young Leadership Program
Young Leadership Fellowship
Creating Leaders for the Future
The Young Leaders Fellowship, launched September 2005, is a unique initiative in which a select group of students, in addition to learning, develop their leadership skills. Leadership participants experience firsthand the power of community service through attending weekly leadership classes and working on meaningful projects. The program teaches participants how to interact with diverse groups of people in Israel, while learning about the structures of the Jewish communities in the Diaspora. Fellows also receive assignments such as organizing school activities, participating in workshops to build interpersonal skills, and fostering chesed opportunities for the She’arim community.
She’arim will be continuing its Young Leadership Program for a select number of outstanding individuals. She’arim’s Young Leadership Program will deepen its participants’ awareness of Judaism and enhance their leadership skills through a full-time learning program in Jerusalem.
