She'arim's dynamic approach to learning combines stimulating Jewish philosophy lectures with intensive study of texts, conducted in English in the exhilarating chavruta style of a traditional Beit Midrash. Our exciting and innovative curriculum is offered to full-time or part-time students at introductory, beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Our program includes a wide variety of field trips and activities throughout the year to enhance our students’ Israel experience. While you may join She’arim at any time, by studying for a longer period you can gain a learning proficiency that will enable you to continue learning for a lifetime.
She'arim offers the following Programs:1) Beit Midrash
The Beit Midrash Program A full-time program on 3 Levels
Shiur Aleph (beginner) is suited to students who have a positive identification with Judaism, who are basically committed to Shabbat and Kashrut observance, and who are ready to gain basic skills in Torah study, especially Chumash with Rashi's commentary.
Shiur Bet (intermediate) is appropriate for students who are more advanced in Torah learning and wish to develop their learning skills and broaden their philosophical knowledge, particularly through the study of Chumash with Ramban's commentary.
Shiur Gimel (advanced) offers advanced students the opportunity to deepen their skills while being exposed to challenging, new levels of learning. Students may move between levels as their Hebrew and text skills improve, or combine classes in different levels to form personalized schedules.
